In other achievements, she was long listed for the Margery Allingham crime short story competition in spring 2017, placed 2nd in the Writers & Artists short story competition, shortlisted in the Bridport flash prize, the Limnisa Short Story Competition, the Erewash Writers Short Story and the Flash500 quarterly flash fiction competitions. Earlier in the year she was long listed in Bath Flash Fiction's inaugural Novella-in-flash award and the Fish flash competition. Last year she won the NWC Worldwide Flash Fiction competition, was long listed for the Fish and Colm Toibin short story, Ink Tears and Flash500 flash fiction competitions, was highly commended for her short story in the Manchester Fiction Prize, and was a notable contender for the Bristol short story prize. Her short story 'Exposing Nadia' was published in the summer edition of Mslexia. Her short story 'Secrets of a Suburban Garden' was Editor's Choice in the Hammond House 'Precious' Anthology. Her short story 'My Sister's Island' was published in the Nivalis 2016 anthology, and in 2017 her flash fiction 'Sainsbury Sorrow' was published in the Ellipsis Zine 'One' anthology, another flash piece 'Half Way to Guayaquil On The Roof of a Steam Train I Fall in Love' was published in the Firewords 9 anthology, her shortlisted flash 'Matchmaker' was published in the Hysteria 6 Anthology, and her flash piece 'Saturation Point' was published in the Flash Fiction Festival One anthology. In 2018 her short story 'The Pianist of Mostar' was published in The Brighton Prize Anthology 2017, Stories from Rattle TalesThree of her stories appear in the anthology Farewell My LovelyHer flash piece 'The Second Twin' was published in the Ellipsis Zine 'Three' anthology.
